Colloidal Silver Causes Evacuation of an Entire Hotel!

In November a Gainesville, GA man found out that traveling with your colloidal silver generator might be problematic -- particularly if someone sees it, and mistakes it for a piece of “meth lab” equipment.

Here’s the story, along with a few eye-opening tips that might help you avoid similar difficulties when traveling with your colloidal silver-making equipment…

This has got to be my favorite news story of the year.

Apparently, on November 28, 2012, a hotel housekeeper at the Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites in Gainesville, GA entered a hotel room when the guest wasn’t there, and found a "suspicious device" and a "suspicious substance."

The police were called, and afterwards the Sheriff's bomb squad and a Hazardous Materials team joined the investigation on the premise that a dangerous "meth lab" may have been discovered in the hotel room.

The entire hotel was evacuated as a precaution, as authorities pursued their investigation.

Colloidal Silver the Culprit

Then, two hours after the evacuation, the surprised hotel guest returned to the hotel. He apparently explained to authorities that the "suspicious substance" they’d found in his room was a Big Gulp cup half full of colloidal silver!

Although the news article doesn’t specifically say so, apparently the "suspicious device" found in the room was a colloidal silver generator.

I don’t know who should be more embarrassed, the snoopy hotel staff, the over-reactive police, the Sheriff’s bomb squad, the Hazardous Materials squad, or the guy who apparently left his hotel room with his colloidal silver generator running, not expecting any hotel staff to enter the room.

According to a Gainesville Police Department spokesman, “We would much rather take all safety precautions anytime a suspicious device is found to ensure safety than not do enough.”

Well said. But nevertheless somebody oughta be awfully darned embarrassed over this incident.

Crazy, Crazy World

Folks, we now live in a crazy, crazy world where you have to be darned careful for just about everything, apparently including where you take your colloidal silver generator.

Frankly, this story did not surprise me in the least, because I experienced a similar event not too long after the 9-11 terrorist attacks on this country.

Indeed, shortly after 9-11 an investigator from the Office of Naval Intelligence show up at the doorstep of my office asking why I’d just purchased 200 wall timers from a local electrical supply house.

Apparently, with a few modifications, wall timers can be used by terrorists as makeshift explosive devices. And the authorities were apparently worried that I might be some nutcase who was getting ready to blow up half the little town I lived in at that time.

But I understand that sometimes when you’re going to be away from home for an extended period of time, you might want to bring your generator with you so you can make fresh batches of colloidal silver wherever you’re visiting.

By shipping your generator to your destination via UPS, FedEx or some other reliable shipping service, you won’t have to worry about having it confiscated at the airport, bus station or train station if some lughead TSA wannabe in the baggage inspection department confuses it for a portable “meth lab” or an explosive device.

And by purchasing the shipment tracking service, you can keep track of where your package is at at any point in time while you’re traveling. How? Simply by using your laptop computer or smart phone to log into the website of the shipping company you’ve chosen, and enter your package’s shipping number into the tracking system.

Also, when shipping your colloidal silver generator anywhere, it’s important to make sure it’s clearly labeled.

Colloidal Silver and Hospital-Acquired Infections: What You Can Do to Protect Yourself!

While the medical authorities continue to brag that hospital-acquired infections are on the downturn, the truth is these infections are still one of the top 10 causes of death in the United States.

What’s more, experts point out that the supposed downturn in infection rates is misleading at best, because many medical facilities aren’t even counted in the statistics.

That leaves it up to you to protect yourself from hospital-acquired infection when you go into the hospital or any medical treatment facility, including the dentist’s office, outpatient surgery centers and more.

Here’s what you can do to help protect yourself using colloidal silver…

A recent Associated Press news article states that “Almost 2 million health care-related infections occur each year nationwide; more than 90,000 of these are fatal.”

That’s 90,000-plus deaths every year, folks, from infections acquired at hospitals.

What’s more, the same article tells us that when surgery wards in seven hospitals took extra precautions against such infections after colorectal surgery, a grand total of 135 infections were prevented over a two-and-one-half year period.

Do the Math

The American College of Surgeons claim this supposed reduction in infections saved almost $4 million!

What does that tell you? Well, do the math. It tells you that each hospital-acquired infection costs about $29,629.63 to treat!

And they still lose more than 90,000 people each and every year to these hospital-acquired infections, in spite of spending a whopping $29,629.63 apiece to treat the patients who end up with them!

According to the article, “The average rate of infections linked with colorectal operations at the seven hospitals dropped from about 16 percent of patients…to almost 11 percent.”

Can you believe it? They’re actually proud of this, even though it’s a pittance.

The article goes on to say, “Hospital stays for patients who got infections dropped from an average of 15 days to 13 days, which helped cut costs.”

Really?

Does that mean the patients who became infected in the hospital didn’t take as long to die? Or does it mean the infections were less severe and took less time to treat? The health authorities don’t say.

Even more revealing is the fact that the #1 strategy at the hospital for this supposed dramatic decrease in hospital-acquired infections was simply to get the doctors to wash their dirty hands more often, and change their gowns and gloves!

Wow. That’s some high-tech stuff, there.

The hospital apparently even popped for a few extra bucks and bought “special germ-fighting soap” for patients to wash themselves with before going into surgery.

How comforting. Well, we can all breathe a sigh of relief, I suppose, that the hospitals are treating this matter seriously. (Yes, that’s sarcasm, in case you didn’t recognize it.)

Not Good Enough!

But I say that’s simply not good enough.

After all, according to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, hospital-acquired infections are still one of the top 10 causes of death in the entire nation.

What’s more, according to Dr. Glenn D. Braunstein, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Cedars-Sinai, while a whopping 98,000 Americans die from hospital acquired infections every year…

“…The problem is likely even greater than official figures suggest because those numbers fail to account for the millions of patients treated in outpatient surgery centers, community clinics, nursing homes and other care facilities.”

In other words, they don’t even count the deaths from infections acquired at non-hospital types of medical facilities such as outpatient clinics, surgery centers, nursing homes and more!

So the infection rate is actually suppressed by manipulation of the data. The dead bodies keep piling up. And the public is kept largely in the dark, being led by news headlines to believe the situation is under control.

But the truth is this: Every five years nearly 500,000 men, women and children who trusted their medical providers to give them a safe environment for a hospital procedure end up dying of hospital-acquired infections!

And those numbers don’t count people who acquired infections at non-hospital medical facilities and died as a result.

All of these are people with families, friends, careers, hopes and dreams just like you – all dropping dead because the hospitals can’t stop the infections that should never have happened in the first place.

The bottom line is that the rate of hospital-acquired infections as well as the resulting death toll is outrageous, irresponsible and completely unacceptable!

And the response of hospitals is basically to tell doctors to wash their hands more often, and change their gloves and gowns. Why? Because they don’t’ want to spend the money to institute real policies that might actually result in an end to hospital-acquired infections!

In short, they’ve just calculated the physical and financial toll of the infections (and the resulting deaths) into their bottom line.

Bring Your Own Colloidal Silver…

I’ve written about hospital-acquired infections in the past, and why I believe colloidal silver is the answer to stopping them.

And I’ve pointed out that many hospital-acquired infections are being caused when the drug-resistant pathogens become airborne, and thereby spread like wildfire through the medical facilities.

This pretty much negates the idea that hospital-acquired infections can be stopped if the doctor’s would just wash their hands more often, or change their gloves and gowns.

Unfortunately, in most cases, the doctors don’t even know about the powerful infection-fighting qualities of safe, natural colloidal silver.

Mitigating the Danger

What these real-life colloidal silver success stories document is the fact that it can be very dangerous these days to have to go into the hospital or other health-care facility.

MRSA and other antibiotic-resistant pathogens are rampant. Doctors and hospital staff generally mean well. But they don’t know everything. And they’re often helplessly tied to hospital policy.

Hospital Failure to Use Colloidal Silver Now Resulting in Newborn Babies Infected With MRSA

The despicable refusal of the medical authorities to bring the use of colloidal silver into the hospital setting has resulted in a staggering 1.7 million annual cases of hospital-acquired MRSA infection in the U.S. alone, and millions more cases in hospitals around the world.

Why?
