Colloidal Silver and the Flu Epidemic of 2015

The CDC announced this week that the nation has hit the “flu epidemic threshold nationwide.”

The red states in the map at the left are areas of high flu activity. Orange states have moderate flu activity, and the green and yellow states have low to minimal flu activity at present (late December 2014).

The flu bug appears to be gradually spreading from the east coast where there’s heavy flu activity, to the west coast where it’s low to minimal, but where more states are turning from green and yellow, to orange.

Pump spray bottles are important because they are so versatile. First of all, they allow you to spray a fine colloidal silver “mist” over areas such as countertops, door knobs, toilet handles, knobs and faucets or any other high contact surface areas where bacteria, viruses and other pathogens can concentrate and infect others.

The tiny silver particles air dry to the surface, and provide many hours of protection. During a health crisis, do this every time a visitor comes and goes from your house.

Additionally, pump spray bottles are great for spraying colloidal silver onto open sores, cuts, burns or other wounds, in order to keep them infection-free. Simply spray lightly over the affected area, and then let it air dry. The tiny particles of colloidal silver will adhere to the affected area, and protect it, also increasing healing time, which is vital when infections of any kind are rampant.

You can use plastic or glass pump spray bottles. Glass is always preferable if you plan on storing colloidal silver in the pump spray bottle for months at a time. But plastic will work just fine for shorter periods of time between refills, such as a few weeks to a month at a time.

Pump spray bottles can usually be found at your local Wal-Mart, in local health food stores, or even in the gardening department of your local Home Depot or similar store.

If they’re sold out, go to the over-the-counter medicines department in your local pharmacy, and buy a pump spray bottle full of Chloraseptic, or Triaminic, or any other “sore throat spray.”

You can take the bottle home, dump the contents, clean the bottle out thoroughly with soap and warm water, and then rinse again thoroughly with warm water. Then fill it with colloidal silver.

Step #4: Get a small nasal “squeeze spray” bottle so you can spray colloidal silver up your nose and get it deeply into your sinuses, should you feel an infection coming on, or should you be exposed to a person who may be infected.

Carry this in your pocket or purse, or in your car, with you at all times, particularly during cold and flu season. These little nasal “squeeze spray” bottles are generally available at any Wal-Mart or pharmacy.

For about a dollar, you can go to any local pharmacy and purchase a tiny, two ounce plastic nasal spray bottle full of saline solution, which is used by allergy sufferers to clean their nasal passages and sinuses.

Simply open the lid, pull the little plastic spray tip off the top of the bottle, dump the saline solution out, rinse the inside of the bottle thoroughly with warm water, and then re-fill it with colloidal silver.

Filling the bottle only half-way actually makes it “mist” better when you spray it up your nose; you want that fine mist because it carries the tiny silver particles deep into the sinuses and even into the lungs, where any hidden viruses can be dealt with).

Step #5: Get a couple of eye-droppers while you’re out visiting your local Wal-Mart or pharmacy.

As I mentioned earlier, viruses and other pathogens often enter the body at the eyes and ears.

For example, when you shake hands with an infected person, or touch a countertop, door handle, or other surface which have viruses on them, and then inadvertently touch your finger to your eye or ear, you can easily become infected.

But you can often stop the infection dead in its tracks simply by applying a few drops of colloidal silver to the eyes or ears.

During cold and flu season, I apply a drop or two of colloidal silver to my eyes up to several times a day, anytime I’ve been out in public where people have been coughing around me.

And under those same circumstances, I’ll put a drop or two into my ear canal at night, when I lay down to sleep.

Step #6: Get surgical style face masks, so if a severe flu outbreak strikes your area and you absolutely have to go out in public, you’ll have at least some measure of protection from breathing in the viral pathogen.

You’ve no doubt seen the televised news reports of health authorities and police using surgical style face masks on the streets during severe flu outbreaks.

But when flu outbreaks get that severe, the masks are usually sold out virtually overnight. So you should do everything you can to get some surgical style face masks as quickly as possible. They’re even available on Amazon.com. Just use their search function to search for “surgical face masks.”

I recently found surgical face masks at our local Wal-Mart, and some more at our local retail Croal’s Rexall pharmacy, last night. Painters face masks will do in a pinch, if you can’t find surgical masks. You can get painter’s face masks at any paint supply store, hardware store, Home Depot, etc.

If you can’t find face masks, get oversized neckerchiefs from your local Wal-Mart or clothing store, and use those like a face mask, just like you’ve seen them do in the old cowboy movies when the bad guys cover their faces from the nose down in order to avoid recognition, or like the cattle hands do in order to keep from breathing in dust during a cattle stampede.

The point is to get something that’s easy enough to breathe through to cover your nose and mouth, and yet just thick enough to help filter out aerial viruses and other pathogens from people around you coughing.

Step #7: Get a few pump bottles of liquid hand soap while you’re out shopping, and add some colloidal silver to it, in order to make your own antimicrobial hand soap.

As you know, health authorities always emphasize that washing your hands repeatedly during the day is of utmost importance during a serious flu outbreak. And they’re right.

Using a good, high-quality antimicrobial soap is vital for keeping the flu bug from spreading from person to person, and from contact surface to contact surface.

This is why doctors in hospital environments use antimicrobial soap every single day. So making your own antimicrobial soap with colloidal silver, for use during cold and flu season, is just plain smart.

Inhalation of Silver Nanoparticles Results in "Miraculous" Protection Against Pneumonia

Many people have used a simple medical nebulizer to aerosolize colloidal silver and inhale it into the lungs in order to stop serious upper respiratory infections dead in their tracks.

And while the practice has yielded some astonishing results according to the online testimonials of those who have used this process (including myself), there has been little to no medical research validating it.

But a study conducted last year by the Washington University School of Medicine may well pave the way for increased research into this astonishingly successful technique for healing colds, flu, pneumonia and other upper respiratory infections.

Inhalation of Silver Nanoparticles Results in "Miraculous" Protection Against Pneumonia

Silver-based nanoparticles may prove the most effective method yet of delivering pneumonia medications, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Washington University School of Medicine and the University of Akron, Ohio, and presented at the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society.

Researchers infected a group of mice with the bacteria Pseudomona aeroginosa, a common cause of bacterial pneumonia in humans, especially those on ventilators, those with cystic fibrosis or those with compromised immune systems.

All the mice then inhaled aerosolized nanoparticles once per day. In half of the mice, these particles contained antimicrobial particles known as silver carbene complexes (SCCs).

Mice that inhaled the SCCs had significantly lower concentrations of bacteria in their lungs than mice inhaling placebo nanoparticles. Most significantly, none of the mice in the SCC group died, while all the mice in the control group did.

"We were surprised and thrilled to see a 100 percent survival advantage in mice treated daily with SCC22-loaded nanoparticles at doses significantly lower than those used to achieve a similar survival advantage in twice-daily dosing of unencapsulated SCC22," researcher Carolyn L. Cannon said.

"During a 72-hour period, all of the infected control mice died, whereas all of the mice that received just two doses of SCC22-loaded nanoparticles spaced 24 hours apart survived."

The researchers noted that in addition to proving effective as an antimicrobial, SCC nanoparticles could also lead to better health outcomes by increasing patient compliance.

Patients are significantly more likely to take all the recommended doses of medications that are needed only once daily than they are with drugs that must be taken twice a day, as with the typical inhaled treatment for P. aeroginosa.

Cannon and colleagues are now investigating whether there are any toxic side effects of the SCC nanoparticle treatment. If none are found, they plan to move on to human clinical trials.

A Tale of Two Pregnancies: Can Colloidal Silver Help Resolve Infertility?

Even though this brief video features a photo of the Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver Generator distributed by The Silver Edge (a company I am intimately associated with), I don’t know who produced the video, and can’t vouch for the contents of it.

Based on information on the site I found the video posted to, it appears to have been made in Hungary. But I couldn’t tell for sure. I suspect the dialogue was originally done in a foreign language, and then translated through a computer-based language translator, which explains the robotic voice.

I found it interesting that the people who made the video are basically saying they were married for two years, but even though they wanted desperately to have children the wife could not get pregnant.

Then the wife got pneumonia, and when several courses of prescription antibiotics failed to work, her husband did online research and discovered information about making and using colloidal silver.

He apparently purchased a Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver Generator and began making micro-particle colloidal silver and giving it to his wife. And it apparently cured her pneumonia.

A Surprise Added Benefit!

But…there was a surprise added benefit: Shortly afterwards the wife was able to get pregnant!

One of their doctors told them that a low-level, deep-seated infection could have been preventing the wife from becoming pregnant, and that when the wife began using the micro-particle colloidal silver for the pneumonia, it may have also cured the underlying infection that was preventing their pregnancy.

Again, I don’t know who this couple is, nor can I vouch for the contents of this video. But I thought the video and related information (see below) was worth posting, particularly considering the number of couples in the world today who are having trouble getting pregnant. Could a low-level, deep-seated infection be the cause of infertility, at least in some cases?

Colloidal Silver and a Little Miracle

Another story (edited slightly for space) which I found on the internet while researching the topic of infertility, infections and colloidal silver tells a very similar tale as the story in the video:

"My husband and I have been married almost 18 years and have always wanted and tried to have children. We have been waiting on the Lord for many years!

When I had walking pneumonia for 2 months earlier this year, my husband searched desperately for something besides the two antibiotics I had taken without much help. He found colloidal silver (made with a generator) and it not only helped build up my immune system, but within two months of us both taking it, I got pregnant! Praise the Lord!

Not only did God bless us with a baby we will be having soon, but He gave us a wonderful way to get better ourselves and help others! We are truly thankful. I would also like to note that it researching, my husband found numerous times that it is not only safe but beneficial to the baby being formed in the mother's womb and to the mother to take colloidal silver while pregnant.

Since we felt this to be true, plus we believed this was how God blessed us with our pregnancy and what helped us get pregnant, we knew it was the best thing for me as the mom-to-be to stay on colloidal silver - for our baby and for me.

The first doctor absolutely said no. So after praying, we found a wonderful doctor -- one of the best in our surrounding area -- that not only was excited for us and with us, but he even offered a possible explanation of what might have happened. He said one or both of us could have had a low grade infection not even detectable by clinics, but enough to prevent pregnancy.

He felt 5ppm - fine; no problem; that is so minimal. He felt it was safe to take, after he looked over the information we gave him (info. off Internet re colloidal silver and pregnancy). I am 43 now and due in 2 mo. I feel great. We both thank God for our baby and for finding Colloidal Silver.”

I find it extremely interesting that here we have two internet stories of infertile women becoming pregnant after using colloidal silver to stop a pneumonia infection. And in both cases, it was approximately two months after the colloidal silver usage that the child was conceived.

Another Colloidal Silver Pregnancy Story...

After publishing the original version of this post, I received the following email report from a midwife named "Jimmie":

…I wanted to tell you of an experience I had with the colloidal silver and infections, in this regard.

I worked for ten years in an Amish community over in Kentucky. The women all have home births, and I am a midwife, so I helped with a lot of them.

One family had had several babies that didn't make it to term, as well as a couple more babies that did make it to term, but came out 'wrong,' as they say; meaning there was something wrong with the babies congenitally, and they didn't live.

When I happened on the scene, there was one more spontaneous abortion which caused a BAD hemorrhage, and the doctor told the woman, once again, that she had a cervical infection and needed to see a specialist, which she was not going to do, and I knew it. So I suggested that she try douches with the colloidal silver.

The poor dear didn't even know what a douche was, so I had to explain it to her. I told her to get into the tub, and put her hips up as high as they could go and to try to hold the silver in the vaginal tract.

I went on about my business, and thought no more about it, only giving instructions to avoid pregnancy for a couple of years to give her body time to heal.

Several months later, I had occasion to be out at the farm, and it was fairly evident that there was another baby under that apron. So I asked if they had used the douches, and she replied that they had only used them about five times, "because the silver wouldn't stay in her…it kept running out."

Inwardly, I groaned, thinking, "Here we go again, another dead baby, and another run to the emergency room for hemorrhage." I got fooled though. A few more months and I delivered a live healthy baby. Five colloidal silver douches. Like a miracle. Need I say that for that family, I can do no wrong?

And, she is still having babies. The last I heard, there were three more since I left the area.

Dr. Gary Null: Use Colloidal Silver When Chlamydia is Causing Infertility

I also find it interesting that Dr. Gary Null, PhD., author of the Complete Encyclopedia of Natural Healing, says on page 241 that colloidal silver can be used by women, “to help cleanse the system when chlamydia is causing infertility.”

Similarly, in his book Get Healthy Now, he states on page 715, “When chlamydia is causing infertility, colloidal silver helps to clean up the system.”

To my knowledge there is ZERO medical or scientific evidence for using colloidal silver as an infertility treatment.

But the concept that a low-level, deep-seated infection (Chlamydia, or otherwise) could be preventing pregnancy from taking place is an interesting one. And the extrapolation that taking small oral doses of colloidal silver might help eliminate the underlying infection and allow infertile women to conceive is an exciting one.

Taking Colloidal Silver During Pregnancy?

As far as taking colloidal silver during pregnancy goes, I personally always prefer to err on the side of caution and warn women not to take colloidal silver when pregnant, as there are no studies to tell what happens when the growing fetus is exposed to silver.

But from what female readers of my newly updated 547-page book The Ultimate Colloidal Silver Manual have told me, a lot of women apparently take small amounts of colloidal silver during pregnancy, to good effect. They claim it helps with morning sickness, and also prevents colds.

And so far none of the women I’ve spoken to have said there was any apparent harm to the child.

I’m not sure what to make of all of this. So I’ll leave it up to you, the reader, to draw your own conclusions, and make your own decisions on this issue.
