Curing Eye Infections With Colloidal Silver

Use of Colloidal Silver in the Eyes

According to Dr. James Balch, M.D., author of the bestselling book Prescriptions for Nutritional Healing, you can indeed use colloidal silver directly in your eyes for Pink Eye, styes (i.e., staph infections) and other eye infections (i.e., conjunctivitis). In his newsletter, he recommended a few drops in each eye, several times a day, of 5 ppm to 10 ppm colloidal silver.

When our son Ron was sent home from school with Pink Eye, the school nurse called to tell us it was a particularly virulent strain and was going around the school. She asked us to keep him home for several days. We started putting a few drops of colloidal silver into each eye periodically throughout the afternoon, and by the next day it was completely cleared up and he was back to school. The school nurse called asking us what in the world we had done, because she had never seen a case that bad clear up that quickly.

We have also used it for healing strep throat (just gargle with colloidal silver four or five times a day), stomach infections including food poisoning (I drank several ounces of 10 ppm every hour for four hours, and it stopped the vomiting and nausea in its tracks) and even colds, flus and many other types of infections.

We even give it to our pets in their water bowls, whenever they get sick. Our cat absolutely loves it, and in fact, prefers drinking colloidal silver to his regular water. An interesting animal lover's web site called Bender Place also recommends giving cats and other pets colloidal silver, rather than risking potentially dangerous vaccinations which often harm pets. As for the problem of different commercial brands of colloidal silver having different strengths and using different types of measurements, this is one good reason why you should always make your own colloidal silver. That way, you always know you are getting pure colloidal silver with no additives, and you personally control the strength.

Colloidal silver can be prepared easily with a simply device called a colloidal silver generator. You can read all about them at http://www.thesilveredge.com/ There is even a printed primer on the use of colloidal silver for beginners, a FREE downloadable report on safe colloidal silver dosages, quotes from experts about colloidal silver usage and safety, a short three-minute video showing how to make colloidal silver with a home colloidal silver generator, and much more.

Just tried this for my blepharitis (rosecea) I've had for weeks. After the first dose, my eyes are clearing and vision improving.

Anonymous, I'm not sure what you should do. I've never seen that happen. I use colloidal silver in my eyes every day, and have for years, and have never had a problem. I suggest the doctor, just in case there's some kind of problem or very stubborn pathogen.

I want to know how many days you can use colloidal silver for an eye infection. I had pink eye once and used it and it took a day to get rid of it. I have had a sinus infection this time and infection went to my eye. Have been battling this for a week with colloidal silver. With netipot with c.s. and two drops in each eye 3times a day. I am better bu eyes are still matted in the mornings. I this safe to do for a week or more?

How many days is it safe to use c.s. in eyes ?
I have had sinus infection and am using neti pot with salt and c.s. and my eyes were matted and red so have used c.s. for 4 days now, 3 times a day. I woke up with matted eyes again today. Is this safe to use for more than 4 days

Gloria, I'm not a doctor. I'm a reporter. So I can't "prescribe." But my general rule-of-thumb is that if a supplement like colloidal silver is not effective right away (i.e., within the first week), and has not resolved the problem completely in that time, it's probably not the right supplement for the job. Silver should not be used in the eyes indefinitely.

Thanks Steve I did end up at the med clinic for antibiotic. I hate it but I am better. Then to detox when I am done!
