Here's some interesting news about silver and infections out of the UK.
According to the British newspaper, The Telegraph, British scientists working in tandem with international drug-makers Janssen and Johnson & Johnson have discovered a way to incorporate tiny silver nanoparticles into intestinal bacteria…
…creating a new drug that can wipe out food poisoning viruses such as the dreaded rotavirus, and perhaps even flu and cold viruses as well.
The popular British newspaper states:
“Scientists have discovered that they can attach tiny studs of silver onto the surface of otherwise harmless bacteria, giving them the ability to destroy viruses.
They have tested the silver-impregnated bacteria against norovirus, which causes winter vomiting outbreaks, and found that they leave the virus unable to cause infections.
The researchers now believe the same technique could help to combat other viruses, including influenza and those responsible for causing the common cold.”
The news article goes on to state that in addition to fighting food-poisoning viruses such as the norovirus (now responsible for record numbers of potentially life-threatening food-poisoning cases worldwide) this strange product could also be “incorporated into a nasal spray, water filters and hand washes to prevent viruses from being spread.”
Professor Willy
These findings were unveiled by Professor Willy Verstraete, a microbiologist from the University of Ghent, Belgium.
Professor Willy recently spoke before a meeting of the Society for Applied Microbiology in London, claiming "We are using silver nanoparticles, which are extremely small but give a large amount of surface area as they can clump around the virus, increasing the inhibiting effect.”
But Why Attach Silver Particles to Bacteria?
But why in the world would Professor Willy use silver nanoparticles that have been attached to friendly digestive bacteria in order to combat food poisoning, colds and flu?
Instead, why not just use a simple, all-natural colloidal silver product containing silver nanoparticles?
According to Professor Verstraete, "There are concerns about using such small particles of silver in the human body and what harm it might cause to human health, so we have attached the silver nanoparticles to the surface of a bacterium. It means the silver particles remain small, but they are not free to roam around the body."
(No…really…that’s what he said! They don’t want those dread silver nanoparticles getting loose inside your body, so they are attaching them to dead intestinal bacteria first, in order to somehow prevent them from wondering around aimlessly once you ingest them. It’s kinda like silver particles with tiny balls-and-chains attached, I guess!)
Indeed, according to the Telegraph:
“The bacteria used, Lactobacillus fermentum, is normally considered to be a ‘friendly’ bacteria that is often found in yogurts and probiotic drinks that can help to aid digestion.
The researchers found that when grown in a solution of silver ions, the bacteria excrete tiny particles of silver, 10,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair, which stud the outside of the cells.
Although the bacteria eventually die as a result of the silver, they remain intact and the dead cells carrying the silver particles can then be added to solutions to create nasal sprays or handwashes.”
(Yep. Big Pharma now expects people to ingest dead bacteria attached to silver particles in order to beat food poisoning, flu and colds. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy all over? Can’t wait until flu season or your next good case of food poisoning to try this out, right?)The Telegraph went on to state:
“Silver is already known to cause damage to the liver, kidneys and lungs in large enough amounts and there are fears that the small size of the particles could allow it to pass into other parts of the body and cause harm.
Professor Verstraete, however, claims that by attaching the silver to the outside of the Lactobacillus fermentum bacteria, the silver is fixed onto a larger object that cannot pass into other parts of the body.
He is now working with drug giants Janssen, and Johnson and Johnson to further develop the technology to tackle other viruses.”
The Convoluted World
Of Creating a “Novel” Prescription Drug
Of course, that's a very exciting and eye-opening news article, if only because it once again demonstrates the incredible infection-fighting power of silver particles against infectious viruses.
But...why not just tell people that tiny silver nanoparticles -- such as those found in simple, all-natural over-the-counter products such as colloidal silver -- can be used just as effectively to kill the rotavirus and other viruses? Why instead expect people to ingest a product consisting of silver particles that have been unnaturally attached to DEAD INTESTINAL BACTERIA, in order to form a new "drug"?
The answer to those questions can be found hidden in the last paragraph quoted above, which states that the good Professor Willy “…is now working with drug giants Janssen, and Johnson and Johnson to further develop the technology to tackle other viruses.”
You see, by growing a friendly intestinal bacteria known as Lactobacillus fermentum in a laboratory media containing tiny silver particles, and forcing the silver particles to attach unnaturally to the friendly bacteria…
…then putting that freakish concoction into a solution you apparently must either drink (in the case of food poisoning) or spray up your nose (in the case of cold or flu) the researchers and their Big Pharma paymasters are working to create a "novel" prescription drug they can patent and hold a monopoly on.
You could just as easily -- and effectively -- drink or sniff some safe, natural colloidal silver and wipe out an intestinal or upper respiratory infection. But they're not going to tell you that. Here's why...
What's really happening here is that the medical researchers and the big drug companies want desperately to enter the market for silver-based infection-fighting substances.
After all, they know that silver is far more effective against infectious microorganism than their failing prescription antibiotic, anti-viral and anti-fungal drugs.
The big drug companies also know they can't patent a completely natural substance like silver, so they have to come up with some way to create a "novel" silver-based product, or at the very least a "novel" delivery system.
I emphasize the word "novel" because that’s the single-most important criteria that must be passed for a product to receive a patent and be sold as a drug.
In other words, for a medical product to be patented it must be unique and new, i.e., something that doesn't occur naturally and hasn't been done the same way before.
As long as it's a "novel" (i.e., unique and new) substance or there's a novel methodology behind its creation, use, or delivery, Big Pharma can then patent it and monopolize its sales worldwide.
Convoluted…Freakish Schemes
So rather than tell people they can use existing natural products containing tiny silver nanoparticles -- such as colloidal silver -- to kill the rotavirus and help cure food poisoning or upper respiratory viral infections…
…they instead come up with these convoluted (and frankly, quite freakish) schemes to attach tiny silver particles to other things (such as to bacteria, in this case), making the product itself, or the method of delivery inside the body, "novel."
Then they try to scare people away from using existing all-natural products containing silver nanoparticles -- such as colloidal silver -- by implying they will damage your liver or kidneys or heart or lungs or whatever, due to their "unrestricted travel" throughout the body.
Of course, any product used in excess can travel “unrestricted” throughout your body and damage your liver or kidneys or heart or lungs or other parts of your body.
Indeed, you can make that same frightening claim against excessive usage of sugar, or salt, or vitamins, or cooking fats and oils, or wine, or beer, or any prescription drug on the market today…
…or for that matter against any other substance on the face of the earth including water (yes, even excessive intake of water is bad for your heart and liver and kidneys and lungs -- it's called "drowning").
Justifying the Franken-Drug
This kind of cheap, junk-science propaganda being used against natural forms of silver such as colloidal silver is how Big Pharma justifies the supposed value of their "novel" product (which, of course, will be patented and turned into an expensive drug available by prescription only)…
…but most importantly, this is how Big Pharma uses rank propaganda to downgrade the inherent value of existing all-natural nanosilver-based products like colloidal silver, which they can't patent (and thus can't monopolize).
But tell me, which would YOU rather use to fight an infection?
Would you rather use a completely natural nanosilver product like colloidal silver, that's been in use since the late 1800's and therefore has an established record of safety and effectiveness for well over 100 years?
Or would you rather use some new concoction consisting of dead intestinal bacteria attached to silver nanoparticles and labeled as a prescription drug, which is then ingested or sniffed up your nose?
A Silver-Based Franken-Drug
In their quest to come up with a "novel" silver-based product they can patent and monopolize and sell as a drug, Big Pharma is now creating a strange, abnormal sci-fi product that can only be referred to as a Franken-drug.
They ominously imply that you shouldn't use completely natural products containing tiny silver nanoparticles -- such as colloidal silver -- because such natural products might be dangerous or somehow bad for you.
But...no worries, mate…it's perfectly OKAY to use their new silver-based Franken-drug, because it's...well...patented...and prescribed...and therefore (quite magically) good for you. Just visit your local doctor’s office and see if new Franken-silver is right for you!
Professor Willy even claims that attaching the silver particles to the intestinal bacteria is necessary, because it makes the silver particles too large to "roam through your body where they may cause harm."
Geesh. If you wanted to, you could easily accomplish the same thing simply by adding three to five drops of salt solution to a batch of safe, natural, ionic colloidal silver and stirring it up.
That’s right. The negatively charged salt will force the tiny, positively charged silver ions to bond together into larger particulates through a process called agglomeration. And voila! You have silver particles that can't "roam throughout your body."
But of course, once again, you can’t patent the idea of adding salt to a product. It’s not a “novel” process. You see, salt is added to food and nutrients all of the time, for a variety of purposes. There’s nothing new or unique about it.
Why the EU Banned Colloidal Silver
Now do you understand why the European Union banned the sale of safe, natural colloidal silver earlier this year?
They wanted safe, natural colloidal silver out of the way, because all along the globalist pharmaceutical companies had a new silver-based Franken-drug in the making, waiting in the wings to be sold to an unwitting public as an anti-viral cure-all.
What can I say but “Bon appétit,” my friends!
Spurious Bugaboo
Look…millions of people worldwide have been ingesting tiny silver nanoparticles in moderation for decades now, without undue harm or risk.
So the whole idea that silver nanoparticles need to be attached to something like dead intestinal bacterium so they can't "roam aimlessly through your body" and harm your liver or kidneys or other organs is nothing less than a spurious bugaboo…
…which the Big Pharma researchers are using to create unwarranted fear over natural, over-the-counter silver-based products like colloidal silver…
… while simultaneously creating the illusion that their coming new hybrid silver-and-bacteria-based Franken-drug is going to be "safe" and good for you.
As Sponge Bob says, "Good luck with that!"
As usual when dealing with the big drug companies and their researchers, rank deception and hypocrisy are the order of the day.
