The evidence for
colloidal silver’s effectiveness against the tuberculosis pathogen is mounting.
More studies are
demonstrating the fact that colloidal silver kills the hardy and malicious
pathogen at a mere 10 ppm concentration.
Here’s another
interesting clinical study I recently came across, adding to the weight of
evidence on behalf of colloidal silver’s effectiveness against TB…

I recently published an article titled Colloidal Silver and Tuberculosis,
documenting the clinical and anecdotal evidence for the effectiveness of
colloidal silver against the Tuberculosis (TB) pathogen.
Afterwards, some additional clinical documentation came to
my attention, which I added to the original article after it was already
published. Here’s what was added:
A clinical study
titled “Fabrication of Silver Nanoparticles and Their Antimicrobial
Mechanisms,” published in 2006 in the journal European Cells and Materials (Vol. 11), demonstrated that silver
nanoparticles at a concentration of only 10 ppm were effective against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
The researchers stated:
“Silver nanoparticles were successfully produced less than 10nm in size.
They showed excellent antibacterial activities against S. typhi, E. coli, P.
aeruginosa around 1 ppm and S. aureus and M. tuberculosis around 10 ppm.
Three
types of antimicrobial mechanisms were observed:
1)
Plasmolysis, cytoplasm of bacteria separated from bacterial cell wall, was
observed in Gram negative bacteria
2)
The synthesis of bacterial cell wall was inhibited in S. aureus.
3)
Nanosilver particles found in the cytoplasm of M. tuberculosis may induce
metabolic disturbance.”
The researchers concluded:
“Silver nanoparticles…showed excellent antibacterial activity.
Antimicrobial mechanisms of nanosilver were different according to the species
of bacteria.
From
the result, silver nanoparticles will be available as a good antibiotic
alternative.”
So it appears from this study that the tiny silver
nanoparticles “induced metabolic disturbance” in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and killed them at 10 ppm, while
killing Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomona
aeruginosa and Escherichia coli
at only 1 ppm.
Again, this is an in vitro (i.e., test tube) clinical study,
not a live human study. So it only
proves that silver can kill the bacteria.
It does not prove that silver will cure tuberculosis in a live human
body.
Nevertheless, it adds to the profound weight of evidence on
behalf of colloidal silver for use against tuberculosis in humans.
As one gentleman recently wrote on the Futurity.org
website:
“To
the amazement of my doctor, I have used nanosil 10 to treat my tuberculosis
which failed to respond to the firstline TB cocktail!”
Of course, “nanosil 10” is simply 10 ppm nanosilver.
So here’s another individual claiming to have successfully
treated his antibiotic drug-resistant tuberculosis with nano-sized particles of
colloidal silver!
