Are Colloidal Silver Nanoparticles Harmful to Human Cells?
Anti-silver environmentalist groups such as the International Center for Technology Assessment (ICTA) and the Friends of the Earth (FOE) claim that silver nanoparticles are harmful to human cells.
But the idea that silver nano-particles are harmful to human cells is ridiculous at face value.
In fact, as far back as the 1970's and 80’s the late Dr. Robert O. Becker, M.D. conducted groundbreaking research at Syracuse Medical University using tiny, electrically generated, sub-microscopic silver particles. And in human trials he found absolutely no harm to cells or tissues.
This, even though in many cases he generated the tiny nano-sized silver particles directly into the tissue and bone of his patients using a low-voltage electrical device and pure silver mesh, or silver electrodes that were surgically implanted into his patients' infected wound sites. Not only did the silver nano-particles cure the infections (including many antibiotic-resistant cases of osteomyelitis), they also triggered bone healing and tissue regeneration -- hardly a harmful result.
Becker would later write, "“What we have done was rediscover the fact that silver kills bacteria, a fact which had actually been known for centuries...All of the organisms we tested were sensitive to the electrically generated silver ion, including some that were resistant to all known antibiotics...In no case were any undesirable side effects of the silver treatment apparent.”
Even the latest medical research demonstrates no harm to cells from nanosilver. In fact, research published in the June 2009 issue of the prestigious medical journal ACS Nano demonstrates that nanosilver in the bloodstream acts to prevent blood clotting, and that the presence of silver in the bloodstream causes no apparent harm to cells. i would like to know if this makes silver ions that really cant exists in the body cause the silver ions mix with chloride to form silver chloride which is usless and expelled from the body. does THIS machine make REAL silver nano particles ?

The bottom line is that the myth that silver ions cannot work in the human body has been perpetrated for some time now by a company selling non-ionic silver. In other words, they have a vested financial interest in promoting this myth.
They never seem to be able to explain why virtually every top brand of colloidal silver on the market is ionic, and that millions of colloidal silver users use these brands with tremendous beneficial effect.
They also can't seem to explain how so many medical studies using ionic silver have shown dramatically positive results.
They can't explain how the famous Dr. Robert O. Becker used silver ions to cure every so-called "incurable" case of antibiotic-resistant osteomyelitis thrown at him.
They can't explain away the 159 medical studies documented in The Ultimate Colloidal Silver Manual (see www.UltimateColloidalSilverManual.com) -- all of which demonstrate in conclusive terms that ionic silver is the form of silver that best kills pathogens.
I could go on and on. But I won't. I have found that people taken in by the propaganda and mythology promulgated by the promoters of non-ionic silver are almost impossible to convince otherwise, no matter how many medical studies you put in front of them.
The bottom line is that ionic silver is the most popular form of colloidal silver on the face of the earth. It always has been, and always will be. And the reason for that, pure and simple, is that it works best.
