Colloidal Silver Doubles Shelf Life of Milk, Say Researchers

Learn to make colloidal silver at www.TheSilverEdge.com
One of my favorite things in life is seeing something I’ve harped on for decades finally get noticed by researchers and put into use.

In this case, I’m talking about the simple fact that colloidal silver can extend the shelf life of milk by as much as double by stopping the milk bacteria from souring the milk.

While regular colloidal silver users are quite familiar with the idea of adding a small amount of colloidal silver to their milk to extend its shelf life, researchers for one of Brazil’s largest milk distributors have now proven that it’s true.

Indeed, they’re now developing a silver-impregnated milk carton for exactly that purpose.  Here’s the story…

Hi, Steve Barwick here, for The Silver Edge

You can put this one into your “tell me something I don’t already know” file:  Silver keeps milk fresher, longer.

Indeed, anyone who’d experimented with colloidal silver for any length of time knows it can be used in small amounts to extend the shelf life of milk.

In fact, add an ounce of 10 ppm colloidal silver to a quart of milk that’s just beginning to sour, and it will completely reverse the situation, making the milk taste fresher and sweeter than it was before you first opened the carton.

And if you were to add an ounce of 10 ppm colloidal silver to a freshly opened quart of milk, it will last up to a week longer in the refrigerator than it otherwise would have.

In both cases, this unique effect is because the silver dramatically reduces populations of common milk bacteria that would normally spoil and curdle the milk over time.

The silver won’t keep the milk for spoiling indefinitely, however.  Eventually, the silver particles will become too coated with milk fat and too bonded to milk protein to maintain its antimicrobial qualities.

Science Finally Figures It Out

The fact that colloidal silver can keep milk fresher, longer, has prompted researchers in Brazil to develop a new type of plastic milk carton incorporating silver nanoparticles into the makeup of the plastic.

According to a spokesman from Brazilian agribusiness giant, Agrindus, the resulting antmicrobial milk carton increases the shelf life of grade A pasteurized fresh whole milk from seven to 15 days.

And according to an article in Food Science & Technology, “The material’s performance in extending the shelf life of fresh milk was tested over a period of one year by Agrindus, Nanox and independent laboratories. Shelf life extension has now been certified and the company has embarked on bringing the material to market.”

Marketed Throughout
Europe and the U.S.

Apparently, after all testing is complete in Brazil, the new silver-embedded plastic milk cartons will be marketed throughout Europe and the U.S. “where much larger volumes of fresh milk are consumed than in Brazil.”

Nanox, the company that developed the new technology, points out that doubling the shelf-life of whole milk (and potentially other bottled liquid food products, as well) will offer “significant benefits in terms of logistics, storage, quality, food safety and reducing wastage.”

The Good News

Here’s the good news:  You don’t have to wait to see whether or not the Brazilian researchers ever get to market their new antimicrobial milk cartons here in the U.S.

Why not?  Because you can simply go to your refrigerator right now, add an ounce of colloidal silver to your quart of milk, shake it up to evenly distribute the silver particles, and enjoy its antimicrobial benefits while keeping your milk fresher, up to twice as long.

Of course, you can buy colloidal silver at just about any well-stocked local health food store.  Unfortunately, colloidal silver is very costly – as much as $20 to $30 for a tiny four-ounce bottle.  That’s because it works so well at killing infectious microbes and stopping infections, people are willing to pay through the nose for it.

But that’s somewhere between $5 and $7 an ounce – hardly a cost-effective way of extending the shelf life of a $2 quart of milk!

On the other hand, you can simply make your own high-quality colloidal silver, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, for just a few pennies, with a brand new Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver Generator from The Silver Edge.

The Micro-Particle Colloidal Silver Generator allows you to make your own high-quality colloidal silver for less than 36 cents a quart.  Yes, that’s right – a little bit over a penny per ounce!

That means it would only cost you a little over one penny’s worth of colloidal silver to extend the shelf life of a quart of milk!  Now we’re talking the kind of cost-effectiveness I really like to see!

4 Simple Steps to
Colloidal Silver-Making Perfection!

What’s more, colloidal silver is so simple to make at home, anyone who can use a coffee pot has all the skill needed to make colloidal silver.  Let me demonstrate for you how amazingly simple it is:

1.) Just plug the two pure .999 fine silver rods into the two jacks in the bottom of the generator box, one on each side of the bubbler tube.

2.)  Sit the generator box on top of a one-quart glass jar full of pure steam-distilled water, so that the two silver rods and the bubbler tube are immersed in the water.

3.) Set the handy appliance timer for three hours, and plug it into any convenient grounded household electrical outlet.

4.) Plug the generator into the timer and then turn the timer wheel clockwise until you hear the generator start bubbling. The generator will shut off automatically after three hours.

It’s really that easy! You just “Set it, and forget it.” And you get a perfect batch of high-quality micro-particle colloidal silver every time!

When you’re finished, you’ll have a full quart of high-quality micro-particle colloidal silver.  And you can make quart after quart for the rest of your life, for less than 36 cents each!

Indeed, the set of pure .999 fine silver wire that comes with your generator is enough to make over $24,000 worth of colloidal silver (see here)!

Why should you ever again pay $20 to $30 for a tiny, four-ounce bottle of colloidal silver at the health food store, when you can make your own superior-quality micro-particle colloidal silver for just pennies per quart?

Almost FREE, for the Rest of Your Life!

Obviously, having the ability to make your own high-quality micro-particle colloidal silver for only a few pennies per quart is about as close as you’ll ever get to having "free" colloidal silver for the rest of your life, any time you or a family member, friend or loved one needs it.

And because the silver particles produced by this amazing breakthrough in colloidal silver-making technology are as low as .8 nm – a fraction of a single nanometer – their effectiveness against colonies of pathogenic microbes is astonishing.

Perhaps that’s why so many thousands upon thousands of people absolutely rave over the effectiveness of their homemade micro-particle colloidal silver, as you can see at this web page full of real-life colloidal silver success stories.
